Overview

The SRE Capstone is the third and final offering of the Site Reliability Engineering Professional Certificate program. The course includes valuable study materials for certification exam preparation and access to hands-on lab exercises.

The certification preparation materials include study guides that focus your attention on reviewing the content from courses 1 and 2 that you will encounter during your certification exam. Also provided are flash cards to reinforce and facilitate retention of key concepts. Earning an IBM Certified Professional SRE - Cloud v2 certification, validates your IBM SRE skills and demonstrates your expertise to employers and colleagues.

The hands-on labs provide a pre-configured environment and step-by-step guidiance to assist you in gaining familiarity with the IBM Cloud Services.

Use these study materials to focus your review of the SRE Courses 1 and 2 of the Professional Certificate in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) program.

The guides have been developed to effectively point you to the content that you will most likely encounter on the exam and the flash cards will assist with the retention of key concepts.

When you are ready to take the proctored IBM Certified Professional SRE - Cloud v2 exam, you must register for the exam on Pearson Vue. Stay tuned for discounted exam promotions.

Access to SRE hands-on labs

You will conduct the following exercises:

• Perform configuration tasks with the IBM Cloud DNS service

• Create and manage data retention capabilities

• Explore modern user and microservice security

Each hosted lab can be performed up to 3 times , with each attempt expiring after 6 hours of use.

IMPORTANT: Upon opening the lab exercise you will be asked to log in with your IBM Cloud account (IBMid). If you do not have IBM Cloud account (IBMid), you can register for one on the lab page.

The first time you access a lab exercise you will receive an automatically generated email from IBM Cloud that you are invited to join an IBM Cloud account for 30 days. PLEASE DISREGARD THIS EMAIL.
